A newcomer's first hour, set down so you need not learn it by stumbling.
Before you ride in
- Write your name in the book. Make an account on this website: your character's first and last name, and a password.
- Get the launcher from the website. It installs the realm's mods for you.
- Join with your character's name, written as
First_Last. The launcher uses this name to know who you are; a wrong name and the gate will not know you. - Speak your password at the gate. The realm asks for it in the game, on its own page.
Your first steps
- Read the rules. They are shown to you the first time you arrive, and they are the realm's law.
- /help lists every command the realm knows.
- Hungry? The taverns serve meals and drink. /eat and /drink, or the radial menu's Eat & drink ring, and your character sits down to it properly.
- Lost? The map on this website shows the towns and their trades.
Join the hall
Come to the Discord, make a code on your account page and type /link with it in the game. I put your name in my ledger and 350 groschen in your bank, once, as a welcome.
When something goes wrong
- /report in the game reaches the staff online.
- A ticket on the website reaches all of them.
- Or ask right here, in Help and questions. Someone always knows.
And when you are settled, come and find me at the scriptorium in Kuttenberg. I keep the news, and I like company.
Lords forget. Parchment remembers.
