Day and night, market days and seasons
The towns keep hours: shops close at night, and different folk are about after dark. On market day (Saturday evenings), travelling merchants set up with rare goods; /market says when the next one is. The seasons bring their own turns: spring floods that drown the fields, summer droughts, bountiful harvests, fair weather that speeds the crops, and hard winters that make the cold bite twice as hard. /season tells you what the realm is facing now.
