Heraldry and banners

Every faction may bear arms. Its leader designs them on the faction's page here (Design your arms): the shield, the division of the field, the tinctures and a charge, from a lion rampant to a fish naiant. The arms then show on the faction's page and beside its members' names. In the game, the leader or a steward hangs the faction's banner with /banner place inside or at the door of the faction's property. Every banner shows the arms as designed, and changes when they do.
