Crime and the law

Murder, assault, caught pickpocketing, housebreaking, horse theft and smuggling make you wanted, with a bounty. The watch and the court's officers see bounties over heads; they /arrest those who are down or have /surrender-ed, /fine, /search for contraband and send to the pillory. Petty sins can be confessed at the church.
